Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical projects, making architectural decisions or mentoring engineers.
• Strong experience in full-stack software development.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Strong experience with Vue 3 or another modern frontend framework, with ability to become productive in Vue 3.
• Experience building backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS CDK.
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB.
• Strong experience designing and working with SQL databases.
• Good understanding of relational data modelling, indexing, joins, transactions and query optimisation.
• Good understanding of serverless and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, IAM and CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of RESTAPIs, authentication and authorisation.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and production deployments.
• Ability to make sound architectural decisions and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.
• Experience reviewing code and guiding other engineers.

Our core stack includes Vue 3, TypeScript, AWS CDK, DynamoDB, SQL databases and serverless AWS services.

What You Will Lead

• Experience using Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools.
