Job summary

Jet Aviation Singapore is seeking a highly organized Flight Dispatcher to coordinate end-to-end flight operations for our managed fleet. You will work closely with flight crews, clients, maintenance teams, and ground handlers to ensure safe, efficient planning and execution of flights.

The ideal candidate has aviation knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Aviation or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably within business aviation.
• Experience in flight dispatch, operational control or similar aviation operations role.
• Strong understanding of flight operations and aviation safety.
• Willingness to work a 24-hour shift roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flight requests with clients and manage end-to-end trip planning and operational arrangements.
• Ensure safe, punctual and efficient operation of all flights and coordinate ground handling services.
• Coordinate worldwide trip planning and ground handling arrangements for the managed fleet.
• Prepare computerised flight plans using flight planning systems such as Avianas.
• Plan and monitor aircraft operating schedules with Maintenance to ensure duty time limitations are met.
• Monitor flights and inform flight crews and stakeholders of any operational issues.
• Conduct safety assessments: weather, NOTAMs, runway performance, fuel, weight and balance.
• Organise crew rotations and ensure duty/rest requirements are maintained.
• Support and participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Ensure security measures for aircraft, passengers and baggage are in place.
• Coordinate with authorities and service providers for overflight/landing permissions.
• Arrange ground handling, refuelling and crew accommodations as required.
• Provide clear crew briefings and ensure accurate documentation per regulations.
• Make sound operational decisions prioritising safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Ground Operations.
