Job summary

Synapxe seeks an EUC Engineer - Project Management to lead and optimize end-user computing environments for Singapore Health Services. You will provide advanced technical support, guide deployment projects, and mentor junior EUC engineers in a fast-paced, security-conscious setting.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional stakeholder management as you drive strategic improvements and ensure reliable, secure EUC services for a large user base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent in IT.
• At least 8 years in IT with 5 years in a leading position.
• Experience supporting end-user computing environment with >1000 users.
• Experience in large scale migration/upgrading projects for end-users computing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Apple iOS and Android.
• Experience supporting senior management is a plus.
• Basic budgeting and financial concepts in an organization.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management.
• 2 years contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to, document, and resolve complex service tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist users with advanced installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Lead the deployment and integration of new hardware and software systems.
• Conduct acceptance testing and ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of end user computing systems.
• Implement and enforce security measures and conduct regular audits.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement preventive measures to reduce the occurrence of issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to address and resolve cross-functional problems.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior EUC engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Assist in the development of support documentation and training materials.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and meet support requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and support activities.
• Prepare and present reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions.
• Work with business partners to understand specific institutional environment.
• Engage users to gather feedback for service improvement
• Manage stakeholders with regular communications.
