ams OSRAM is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer in Singapore to lead maintenance programs for assembly equipment and drive improvements to yield and productivity. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment while ensuring safety and quality documentation compliance.

The role requires deep knowledge of Pick & Place systems and prior experience leading cross-functional teams in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of equipment engineering experience in frontend/backend assembly manufacturing.
• 3–7 years of technical knowledge of Pick & Place equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading technicians or cross-functional project teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for assembly equipment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance, yield, and productivity.
• Lead equipment qualification and acceptance activities; coordinate installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management systems; maintain documentation.
