Job summary

HTX is building the xCode function to develop core software modules for mission-critical systems. The role focuses on governance, risk, and compliance across software delivery in a sensitive national security context.

The candidate will establish compliant software development practices, engage with governance and regulatory bodies, and drive process improvements across product management and engineering teams while ensuring operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
• At least 5 years in governance, risk management, compliance or IT security.
• Knowledge of IT governance, regulatory requirements and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, compliance standards and best practices for software development and product management.
• Leverage frameworks or collaborate to develop new ones aligned with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage stakeholders across governance bodies, risk/compliance teams and regulators to ensure security and operational compliance.
• Refine internal processes to improve efficiency, manage risks, and coordinate between Product Management, Engineering and external stakeholders.

What you will be working on:

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices for software development and product management.
• Leverage existing frameworks or collaborate with relevant teams to develop new ones that align with organization policies and regulatory requirements.
• Adopt a holistic approach to stakeholder engagement, working with internal governance bodies, risk and compliance teams, and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to security, regulatory and operational requirements.
• Refine internal processes to enhance efficiency, manage risks, and ensure seamless coordination between Product Management, Engineering and external stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in governance, risk management, compliance, or IT security
• Strong knowledge and experience with IT governance framework, risk and compliance, regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to independently ensure governance standards are met, with expertise in compliance reporting
