Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years in product design development.
Experience in interconnects design is desirable; senior role requires leadership.
Proficient in CAD/CAE tools and 3D CAD.

Responsibilities

Develop new products and improve connectors with disciplined product engineering design.
Design for manufacturability with cross-functional teams.
Translate customer requirements into drawings and specifications; perform DFMEA and validation.
Ensure designs meet international standards.
Provide project leadership; align DFM with Process Design.
Be responsible for product engineering of the assigned line; support customers.
Improve designs to reduce manufacturing cost.
