Job summary

Public Service Division invites applications for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Tuas South Incineration Plant. You will oversee daily operations and direct a team of technical officers to maintain high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include planning preventative and remedial maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with NEA procurement guidelines and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Process/power plant maintenance experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to lead and work in a team.
• Contract management experience is a plus.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Mature, independent and resourceful.
• Good presentation skills.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of technical officers to perform operation and maintenance of electrical equipment such as high and low tension switchgear, transformers and motors, and protection equipment.
• Plan preventive and remedial maintenance to achieve high availability and quick repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance works adhere to safety regulations to achieve zero accidents.
• Call and administer tenders/contracts for maintenance per procurement guidelines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
