Job summary

HACHEM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects from concept to completion in Singapore.

The role places emphasis on client-facing interactions, translating client requirements into compelling design solutions and overseeing budgets, timelines, and coordination with consultants and suppliers. You will develop concepts, mood boards, space plans, and detailed drawings, while mentoring junior designers and ensuring adherence to high design standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in interior design with client-facing roles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, materials and regulations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Portfolio must include hotel design with detailed documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage interior design projects from initial concept through to completion
• Act as the primary client-facing contact, building strong relationships and managing expectations
• Understand client requirements and translate them into creative and practical design solutions

• Prepare drawings and 3D visualisations

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is achieved

Requirements:

• Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience, with strong experience in client-facing roles and end-to-end project delivery
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and regulations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Portfolio must include:

• Hotel design experience
