Job summary

Hirsch/Bedner Associates PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Interior Designer with strong hospitality and luxury residential project experience to join our CBD office. You will contribute across all design phases from concept development to site implementation, within a multicultural, collaborative design team.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign, plus a proven track record in hotel interiors and FF&E selection.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Architecture or Interior Design is required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience designing interiors of hotels.
• Experience in hospitality and residential project design from concept to site implementation.
• Experience in designing for various hotel brands and understanding operator needs.
• Experience in selection of furniture, accessories, lighting, ironmongery and sanitary ware.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all design phases from concept to site supervision.
• Coordinate with Project lead, design and FF&E teams.
• Coordinate with operators, consultants and contractors during all project stages.
• Produce client design presentation packages with strong client-facing skills.

• Producing client design presentation packages, with a proven track record in client facing skills
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet given deadlines
• Project management experience from concept to delivery

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years experience designing interiors of hotels
• Experience in handling hospitality and residential projects in all design phases from concept to site implementation
• Experience in designing for various hotel brands and understanding the specific needs required by operators.
• Experience in selection of furniture, accessories, lighting, ironmongery and sanitary wares are mandatory
• Strong communication skills
• Thorough understanding of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp
• Proficient in CAD standards and organization of drawing packages
• Able to understand drawings and design
