Job summary

SNAPFIND TALENT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a Manager/Assistant Manager, Data Management & Modeling for the banking sector to lead data modelling and data management initiatives.

This permanent role partners with business and technology teams to design data models and enterprise data platforms, while ensuring governance and data quality across systems. You will collaborate on requirements, drive data migrations and mappings, and guide data architecture and best practices to deliver timely,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 3 years in Data Management, Analysis, and Modelling in banking or regulated industries.
• Hands-on Data Governance including Quality, Ownership, Stewardship, Standards and Lineage.
• Strong business analysis: requirements, gap analysis, impact, and UAT support.
• Advanced SQL to analyze and reconcile large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, MDM, Data Mapping, Profiling, and Discovery.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management across Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Technology.
• Delivery-focused, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Python, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, Confluence, Visio; Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Strong communication to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead data modelling and data management activities.
• Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Translate requirements into scalable data structures and mappings.
• Lead design/enhancement of Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Platform.
• Define data standards, governance and quality across systems.
• Perform profiling, lineage assessment and impact analysis.
• Design/manage source-to-target mappings and data migration.
• Support project planning and cross-functional coordination.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents, data dictionaries and governance artefacts.
• Provide guidance on data architecture and modelling best practices.
• Ensure delivery through testing and post-deployment support.
• Work independently across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
