Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity is seeking a seasoned engineer to deliver system and network engineering for security-centric infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will work with solution architects, lead implementations, and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include escalation as SME for security, networking architectures, and operations, while ensuring baseline configurations and hardening are maintained across Windows, Linux, and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution.
• In-depth knowledge of networking foundations and IT protocols.
• Strong experience in Windows, Linux and Vmware/HyperV systems.
• Strong experience in Next-Gen Firewalls, VPN, switching/routing, load balancers and proxies.
• Experience in Windows Server domain environments such as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and SCCM.
• Hands-on experience in system and network security tasks such as hardening, patching, capacity planning and design.
• In-depth knowledge in network and systems security.
• Experience in scripting, capacity planning and system design an added advantage.
• Good communication skills with driven and motivated attitude.
• Ability to excel and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide system and network engineering and support for security-centric infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design and implement secure system and network solutions.
• Serve as escalation point and SME for system security, network architectures, and operations.
• Lead technical implementation of new network and system solutions with project managers and stakeholders.
• Perform and validate system hardening and maintain baseline configurations.
