Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to implement, maintain and operate the project’s network and infrastructure. You will work with the security team to deliver required applications and integrations, and identify improvements for the implementation.

You will perform day-to-day operations, automate infrastructure, manage both virtual and physical servers, support vulnerability remediation, and help optimize costs while upholding security standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year managing Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux configurations and troubleshooting.
• Experience with firewalls and TCP/IP stack.
• Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with virtualization software and bare-metal hypervisors.
• Physical server management experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; able to communicate with stakeholders.
• Basic project-management skills; team-oriented attitude.
• Disciplines in CS/Engineering/IT are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out implementation, maintenance, support and operation of the project’s network and infrastructure.
• Maintain understanding of the architecture and work with security team to deliver applications and integrations.
• Identify and recommend improvements for the implementation.
• Perform day-to-day operations, change requests, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Automate infrastructure for build and maintenance; manage network connectivity and security rules.
• Manage virtual network appliances and patch management for Linux and Windows.
• Support vulnerability assessments and remediation for security hardening.
• Assist with cost optimization and resource management.
• Contribute to workflow/process improvements and security standards.
• Share knowledge via documentation and sessions; collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
