Responsibilities

• 1. Carry out drawing and working closely on construction plans with clients, architects and other professionals
• 2. Monitoring installation works on site
• 3. Working out the loads and stresses on different parts of a structure
• 4. Inspecting unsafe buildings and recommending options for repairs or demolition
• 5. Effective communication and co-ordination between project participants
• 6. Making sure that projects meet legal guidelines, environmental directives, and health and safety requirements
• 7. Giving progress reports to clients and senior managers
• 8. Resolving site technical issues
• 9. Performance of other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superior
