Job summary

KOYO M&E PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable engineer to oversee building services projects in Singapore. You will attend site meetings, supervise construction according to the project plan, and coordinate layout plans and M&E drawings while preparing time schedules.

You will liaise with customers, manage sub-contractors, and ensure plans are submitted to authorities for approvals, while monitoring costs and project profit margins through price comparisons and operating-cost management.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in building services.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with keen attention to details.
• Self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Able to handle projects independently and communicate well.
• Contacts with Singapore-based consultants, suppliers & contractors – an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings and supervise construction of works per project plan.
• Coordinate layout plans, detailed drawings, and M&E plans; prepare time schedules.
• Submit plans to local authorities for approval and arrange inspections.
• Work with customers and internal staff; manage sub-contractors; determine material types and quantities.
• Collaborate with operations manager to manage project profit by price comparisons and cost control.
• Supervise and coordinate work to ensure timely completion and high-quality output.
• Perform frequent site inspections and meetings to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Enforce site safety procedures and identify risks in the workplace.
