The role focuses on planning, design input, resource allocation, and overseeing engineering processes to ensure the project is cost-effective and structurally sound. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in civil engineering, a state-approved license, and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in BuildSmart and Smartsheet and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil engineering or similar required.
• State-approved license required.
• 5+ years experience as a construction engineer in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and design stages of construction projects.
• Provide technical input to drawings and designs.
• Perform cost calculations and financial projections.
• Prepare work schedules with the project manager.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and quality standards.
• Present progress updates to clients and senior managers.
