Job summary

ZENERGY ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a results-driven Construction Engineer to manage large construction projects in Singapore. You will oversee planning, design collaboration, resource allocation, schedules, and cost control to deliver safe, on-budget outcomes.

The role requires a Diploma in civil engineering, a state-approved license, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong leadership with excellent communication to coordinate contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Diploma in civil engineering or related field.
State-approved license required.
At least 5 years of construction engineering experience in relevant field.
Proficiency in construction management software (BuildSmart, Smartsheet).
Deep knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Strong leadership, project management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent math, organizational and time-management abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to visit construction sites outside standard hours when needed.

Responsibilities

Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.
Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.
Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections.
Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Overseeing construction engineering processes.
Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.
Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.
