Job summary

Great Resources M&E Contractor Pte Ltd is seeking a site-focused Civil Engineer to manage construction activities on a major project in Singapore. You will oversee structural and architectural works, coordinate with client representatives, and lead a team of workers and subcontractors on site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 6 years of experience, strong communication, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 6 years of working experience.
• Good communication skill and able to interact with all level of staff.
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements
• Supervise structural/architectural works, co-ordinate with client's representatives
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub contractor to perform on site work
• Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period
• Ensure the quality of work
• Responsible for implementing the work plan of the Project Manager
• Prepare daily progress report and work schedule
• Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site
• Attend project meetings
• Other ad-hoc tasks within the Manager’s capability
