Job summary

Surabana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an Executive Engineer to join our coastal engineering team in Jurong West. The role focuses on civil and structural analysis for coastal/marine projects, with responsibility for foundations, interfaces with subcontractors, and tender support.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree (master's preferred) and 5+ years' experience in large-scale marine infrastructure, with knowledge of BS/Euro codes and experience using engineering software

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BCA/IES/ACES recognised).
Master's degree in Structural Engineering would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carry out Civil and Structural analysis and design of coastal and marine infrastructures (quay walls, ports, jetties, retaining walls) for local and overseas projects.
Carry out structural and geotechnical design of shallow and deep foundations.
Assist Project Lead/PM/Design Manager in planning site investigations and interpreting results.
Manage subcontracts (soil investigation, Accredited Checker, hydraulic surveyors, etc.).
Supervise design and/or site work as required.
Contribute to proposals, obtain internal approvals, and tender submissions.
Ensure compliance with statutory standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
Engage and manage stakeholders including clients, design teams, and site teams.
