Job summary

China Harbour (Singapore) Engineering Company Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to review and coordinate design deliverables and ensure compliance with project requirements.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant Singapore experience and proficiency with civil/geotechnical design software, with collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in Singapore.
• Proficient in engineering design software and analytical tools relevant to civil and geotechnical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate detailed civil, structural, and geotechnical design deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage project execution by liaising effectively with Clients, Client’s Consultants, Contractors, and regulatory authorities to align project progress and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Authorized Persons (AC) and Qualified Persons (Design) (QP(D)) to secure all necessary permits and applications in accordance with BCA regulations, ensuring timely endorsement aligned with project milestones
• Verify design calculations to confirm structural integrity and compliance with engineering standards
• Lead the review of Contractor submissions related to Temporary and Permanent Works, coordinating with Qualified Persons (Structural) (QP(S)) and Contractor design teams to promptly resolve design-related issues and maintain project schedules
• Utilize engineering design software and analytical tools to support design analysis and problem-solving in civil and geotechnical engineering contexts
