Job summary

Coupang Singapore is seeking a hands-on Security Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable architectures for our expanding Ecommerce platform. You will partner with product and engineering teams to protect high-traffic services and ensure resilient customer experiences.

The role requires 5+ years in software design, strong knowledge of traffic risk control, fraud detection, or account security, and a proven track record of setting high technical standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to express technical concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on engineering excellence.
• 5+ years of experience in software design and development, building large-scale systems.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems; hands-on experience in traffic risk control, fraud detection, or account security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on security architecture leader for distributed systems and open-source tech; design scalable, highly available, secure platforms.
• Lead the design and optimization of security and risk control modules within core systems (traffic risk controls, anti-fraud).
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and drive technical solutions to completion.
• Lead architecture reviews and engineering excellence to ensure stability and security under high concurrency.
• Work cross-functionally to build platform-level security capabilities and enhance risk detection and prevention.
