Job summary

National University Health System in Tengah is seeking a Principal Audiologist to help shape audiology services at Tengah General and Community Hospital, planning space, workflow and staffing while aligning with NUHS standards.

The role includes mentoring junior staff, conducting independent assessments, delivering specialized services, documenting results, coordinating with practitioners, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure high-quality patient care in a forest-hospital concept.

Qualifications

• A licensed audiologist with a degree in Audiology and relevant certifications.
• Masters/PhD in Audiology is optional but beneficial.
• CCC-A/CCP/CAC or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning of Audiology services for Tengah General and Community Hospital, including space, design, workflow and manpower considerations.
• Collaborate with clinical, allied health, operational and administrative stakeholders in planning of Audiology services.
• Mentor and coach junior staff to develop their careers within the organization.
• Assess and manage patients referred for audiology independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide at least one specialized audiology service independently: Paediatric Audiology, Electrophysiological assessment, Ear implant management, Vestibular assessment, or Tinnitus assessment & management.
• Document patient assessments in audiology records accurately.
• Network with healthcare practitioners in NUHS.
• Comply with clinical and service standards.
• Assist with administrative duties as tasked.
