Job summary

Croda Singapore IBP office in Jurong East is seeking a Lead Applications Scientist in Sun & Skin Care to advance research, design experiments, and generate data-driven insights for product claims. You will develop robust testing protocols and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

You will lead NPD/EPD projects, support sales and marketing with technical expertise, and translate complex science into practical, market-ready claims and training for internal and client use.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field; MSc/PhD preferred.
• 5–7 years in skin/sun clinical testing for claims support.
• Hands-on in vitro SPF and skin care studies with measurements.
• Knowledge of regulatory claims substantiation and reporting.
• Experience leading NPD/EPD projects and external collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations to develop novel skin/sun formulations.
• Provide commercial technical support to sales/marketing teams.
• Manage end-to-end NPD/EPD/open-innovation projects.
• Translate findings into clear insights for business units.
