Job summary

Croda Singapore is seeking a Lead Applications Scientist for Sun & Skin Care to lead technical investigations and open innovation projects. The role focuses on developing novel formulations, performing data-driven testing, and providing technical support to sales and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, hands-on SPF testing experience, and a track record of managing NPD/EPD projects with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of skin/sun clinical testing experience for claims support.
• Hands-on experience with SPF and skin care clinical studies (corneometer, TEWL, etc.).
• Lead NPD/EPD projects with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to write reports with robust statistics.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute lab experiments for skin/sun care formulations.
• Provide commercial technical support to sales and marketing.
• Manage end-to-end projects (NPD, EPD, Open Innovation).
• Scout external partners and manage collaborative projects.
• Translate findings for R&D, Sales, Marketing; provide project updates.
