The role demands a strong CMOS/analog background, expertise across EDA tools, and a track record of mentoring engineers. The position is based in Singapore and involves close collaboration with layout and test teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Microelectronics, Integrated Circuit Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or closely related field.
• 10+ years of IC design experience, including 5+ years in team management.
• Strong CMOS process understanding and analog IC design flow.
• Experience leading chip specification, design, verification and tape-out activities.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE, Spectre, APS, Calibre, MATLAB; layout awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead IC design team to define chip specs and achieve design/tape-out milestones.
• Oversee circuit design, simulation, and verification to meet performance targets.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources and monitor progress.
• Lead technical reviews and resolve complex design challenges.
• Coordinate with layout/test engineers for implementation and validation.
• Ensure complete design documentation (schematics, layouts, test reports).
• Mentor and develop team members and foster cross-functional collaboration.
