Job summary

HTX in Singapore is seeking a Principal Engineer (AI & Data Engineering) to architect and lead the HTX AI Data Platform and engineering efforts powering AI solutions for the Home Team. You will guide end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion to consumption, ensuring data quality, governance, and secure, scalable platforms for enterprise AI products and integrations. The role emphasizes leadership, data strategy, and cutting-edge tech.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with data engineering and AI platforms is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, cloud data services and big data tech.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the development of scalable HTX AI Data Platform & Engineering.
• Oversee data integration from multiple sources for consistency and accessibility.
• Develop and manage efficient data pipelines for AI products and applications.
• Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with IM requirements.
• Drive security and governance across data platforms and AI systems.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology
