Job summary

HANS HIGH-TECH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Laser Field Service Engineer to provide on-site installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of laser equipment across client sites in Singapore and abroad.

The role collaborates with the sales team to develop robust machine solutions and supports cross-functional communication between manufacturing in JB and R&D teams. You will diagnose technical issues, deliver training on operation and maintenance, and travel as needed to meet customer

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years' experience in laser marking, welding, cutting and related material processing.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain laser equipment.
• Diagnose technical issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients on machine operation and maintenance.
• Work closely with Sales Team to analyze customer requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Serve as the technical expert during the sales process, answering deep-dive technical queries.
• Visit the Johor Bahru (JB) factory as needed to facilitate communication between the manufacturing team and the R&D/design team.
• Assist in resolving technical or production-related issues by ensuring alignment between design specifications and manufacturing capabilities.

Summary

The Laser Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for laser equipment. In addition to field service duties, this role collaborates closely with the sales team to develop machine solution proposals for clients and supports cross-functional communication between manufacturing (in JB) and R&D teams.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain laser equipment
• Diagnose technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime
• Provide technical training and guidance to clients on machine operation and maintenance
• Work closely with Sales Team to analyze customer requirements and provide technical solutions
• Serve as the technical expert during the sales process, showcasing system capabilities and answering deep-dive technical queries.
• Visit the Johor Bahru (JB) factory as needed to facilitate communication between the manufacturing team and the R&D/design team
• Assist in resolving technical or production-related issues by ensuring clear alignment between design specifications and manufacturing capabilities

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in laser system integration.
• Fresh Graduates or 1-2 years' experience in laser marking, welding, cutting and other material processing;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively between multi-disciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, and Software) and factory personnel.
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas when needed.
• Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
