Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks a Surveyor to perform major survey works and prepare as-built drawings. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying, proficiency in land surveying tools, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate should be familiar with Singapore Engineering standards and have at least 2 years of experience. Qualifications

• Well-versed with Surveying and Levelling instruments.
• Familiar with SVY21, BCA compliances, and Singapore Standards of Engineering practices.
• Registered Technical Member of Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers preferred.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.

Job Description

• Performing all major survey works required on site including computing survey data for setting out works and setting out lines and levels.
• Assist in carrying out relevant site measurements for the purpose of calculating interim and final quantities of work done.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site survey records.
• Setting out of parcel boundaries, grids, piles positions, building blocks, minor sewer and service roads alignments, etc. piles eccentricity checks survey, topographical survey of surrounding services and roads, as-built survey of services and preparation of setting out plans, cross-sectional and longitudinal plans and surveys to monitor ground settlement, where applicable.
• Prepare the pre-computation plan to ensure the approved pre-computation plan tallies with the Consultants drawings.
• To provide survey reports and liaise with local authorities.
• Maintains and store accurate notes, records, and drawing files for active projects.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering/ Surveying or equivalent
• Well-versed with Surveying and Levelling instruments
• Familiar with SVY21, BCA compliances and Singapore Standards of Engineering practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Registered Technical Member of Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (SISV) preferred
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
