Job summary

APS ASIA PDA ENTERPRISE PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Surveyor to perform field surveying, data collection, and mapping on construction sites in Singapore.

You will transfer design gridlines, run chainages, and establish precise land boundaries, while ensuring compliance with local laws and safety standards. The role involves operating high-precision instruments (Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, 3D scanners), handling data processing in CAD Civil 3D and GIS, and supervising field crew trainees.

Qualifications

• Experience in field surveying tasks and data collection.
• Familiar with topographic, boundary and cadastral surveys.
• Ability to operate surveying instruments and maintain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Field Surveying & Data Collection to establish precise measurements.
• Setting Out & Layout from design drawings on site.
• Boundary Verification using historical records and deeds.
• Operate and maintain Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, 3D scanners and data collectors.

• Ensure QA and comply with local property laws and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate field crew and present findings to stakeholders.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Field Surveying & Data Collection: Conduct topographic, boundary, cadastral, and route surveys to establish precise dimensions, elevations, contours, and horizons of land sites.
• Setting Out & Layout: Transfer design gridlines, running chainages, road/drainage lines, and structural points from engineering drawings onto the construction site.
• Boundary Verification: Research historical land titles, deeds, maps, and previous survey records to verify and establish official legal property boundaries.
• Equipment Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain high-precision surveying instruments, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, 3D laser scanners, and data collectors.
• Data Processing & Mapping: Analyze field data and utilize CAD platforms (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and GIS software to generate accurate charts, sketches, maps, and legal land descriptions.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all measurement computations are verified for maximum accuracy and align strictly with local property laws, engineering standards, and safety guidelines.
• Team Collaboration: Supervise and coordinate field crew trainees or chainmen, and present technical findings clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.
