Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry or Food related discipline is required.
• Experience in food/beverage or pharmaceutical QC/lab operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate ingredients, in-process, and finished beverage bases for conformance to specifications using physical-chemical, microbiological and sensory tests.
• Complete approval and release procedures for ingredients, packaging materials and finished product; ensure data is transacted in SAP.
• Ensure documentation (Certificates of Analysis, pre-shipment approvals) is complete before final release.
• Sample ingredients, packaging materials, intermediates and finished products on-site and at external storage as required.
• Calibrate analytical equipment and ensure accuracy and repeatability of quality data.
• Maintain records of laboratory procedures, processes and test data; ensure GLP and GMP compliance.
• Keep inventory records for chemicals, glassware, reagents; assist in purchasing lab items.
