Job summary

TUM CREATE invites applications for an experienced lab technician to join our team, working on AI-powered high-throughput blood cell analysis technology at the Singapore campus. You will ensure instrument functionality and reliability, manage supplies, and support wet lab protocols in a BSL-2 setting.

This fixed-term contract runs until 30 April 2027 with potential extension depending on project progress. Fresh graduates may be considered; prior cytometry experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Diploma, Higher NITEC, or NITEC in biomedical science, life sciences or related field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship, final-year project, or hands-on lab experience are welcome.
• Prior experience in flow cytometry and haematology analysis is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in reporting and workflow management.
• Foundational computer and data analysis capabilities.
• Solid understanding of laboratory safety and handling of hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform haematology analysis of clinical samples in a BSL-2 lab setting.
• Calibrate, quality-check, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate in reviewing and refining laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Monitor supply levels and manage inventory replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, sample handling, and calibration activities.
• Provide progress updates and report deviations from procedures.
• Work with researchers and team members on cross-functional project activities.
