Job summary

National Environment Agency in Singapore seeks a proactive professional to join the Environmental Health Institute's Facility, Safety and Quality Department. You will support the management and continual improvement of the Quality Management System, governance documents, and knowledge assets, while leading process improvement and digitalisation within a lab setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Quality Management, Information Management, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in scientific or research facilities, especially in lab operations and quality management.
• Experience with quality systems, document control, knowledge management or governance.
• Understanding of government procurement policies and procedures.
• Strong background in Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety management, including risk assessment and bizSAFE Level 3+.
• Proven ability to support process improvement and digital transformation.
• Strong writing, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Good stakeholder management and project coordination.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage EHI's Quality Management System and controlled documents.
• Coordinate development, review, approval, publication, and revision of documents.
• Standardise safety and quality documentation to align with NEA corporate standards and ISO9001/ISO17025.
• Facilitate cross-functional reviews with divisions and stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge repositories and document management systems for accessibility and retention.
• Lead or support process improvement initiatives through technology adoption in a research lab.
• Propose and implement digital solutions to enhance procurement and knowledge management.
• Develop and implement improved operational models to enhance procurement efficiency.
• Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to documentation and digitalisation projects to improve efficiency and user experience.
