Job summary

MSD seeks an experienced Quality Leader to head Laboratory System Qualification operations in Singapore. You will oversee lifecycle management of laboratory systems, drive compliance, and lead a cross-functional team to achieve audit readiness and continuous improvement.

You will manage budgets, coordinate calibration and maintenance, and mentor staff while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across Singapore, EU, and US markets. Join a global team delivering medicines and vaccines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or proven relevant experience in science/engineering fields.
Minimum 7 years of work experience in quality operations in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of laboratory systems, calibration, maintenance, and administration.
Experience in change and project management with ability to lead a cross-functional team.
Experience with regulatory standards and quality systems for Singapore, EU, or US markets.
Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
Proven ability to manage and develop a team.

Responsibilities

Oversee and lead quality initiatives to improve compliance, efficiency, and cost savings.
Manage budgets and spending on maintenance and CAPEX.
Ensure readiness for inspections and timely corrective actions following audits.
Plan resource utilization to meet operational and financial targets.
Train, coach, and develop direct reports and contractors.
Communicate with senior stakeholders on operations and KPIs.
Drive collaboration and culture change.
Review and approve quality documentation including change controls and deviations.
Maintain safety programs and safe working environment.
Handle other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
