Job summary

RMA Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Officer to support laboratory operations by washing, sterilising and decontaminating glassware and materials. You will operate autoclaves, maintain records, and ensure safety procedures while contributing to efficient service delivery.

Training will be provided; candidates should be team-oriented with good English communication and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Good spoken and written English; communicate effectively with team and users.
• Ability to follow established safety, quality and SOPs.
• Prior lab or operational experience is an advantage; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sterilise laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Operate autoclaves for sterilisation of laboratory materials.
• Perform biohazard waste decontamination and disposal in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily operational records.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe.
• Check equipment condition and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Respond to user enquiries and provide appropriate assistance.
• Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Support the team in maintaining smooth and efficient service delivery.
