Job summary

NTU's School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering invites an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, safety compliance, and teaching assistance in MAE laboratories.

Responsibilities include lab safety briefings, asset management, and providing technical guidance to staff, researchers, and students. Suitable for candidates with 3–4 years in educational or research environments and strong CAD/Office capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years hands-on experience in managing daily operations and facility upkeep in an engineering lab or workshop.
• Experience in educational or research institutions supporting engineering modules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory operations, space utilization, inventory, procurement, and equipment readiness.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, including RA/SWP updates and ISO 45001 alignment; manage radiation licensing, gas detection, and safety inspections.
• Provide teaching support and technical guidance to staff, researchers and students during practical sessions and projects.
