Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a Lab Equipment Technician to support a leading semiconductor manufacturer in Singapore. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments critical to wafer manufacturing and quality testing.

You will work with advanced equipment, collaborate with engineers, and help ensure equipment uptime while adhering to safety and cleanroom standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / NITEC in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related fields.
• Experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, troubleshooting or calibration is an advantage.
• Hands-on semiconductor, electronics or manufacturing exposure is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Independent and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct calibration, qualification, and performance verification of instruments.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure reliability.
• Assist installation, commissioning, and validation of new instruments.
• Coordinate with vendors for servicing and support.
• Maintain maintenance records and calibration reports.
• Support continuous improvement to boost equipment efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom protocols, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with users, engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
