Job summary

RRECRUITER PTE. LTD. in Tampines, Singapore, seeks a Senior / Lab Engineer to perform chemical and physical testing in a semiconductor lab, develop methods, install instruments, and validate approaches.

You will plan testing capacity, investigate deviations, and prepare reports while supporting production problem-solving. A Bachelor’s in a chemical/physical science and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/physical science field is required.
• 2+ years of laboratory experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of analytical testing methods, especially trace metals analysis, is preferred.
• Familiarity with GLP, ISO/IEC 17025, and MSA is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and laboratory coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and/or physical testing according to SOPs.
• Install new instruments, develop methods, and validate them.
• Plan laboratory testing capacity based on internal/external requirements.
• Investigate and report measurement deviations and lab issues.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and specialised laboratory reports.

• Coordinate correlation and round-robin projects across sites.

Main Responsibilities

• Performing chemical and/or physical testing according to laboratory techniques and SOPs.

• Handling new instrument installation, method development, and method validation.

• Planning laboratory testing capacity based on internal and external requirements.

• Investigating and reporting measurement deviations and laboratory issues.

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and specialised laboratory reports.

• Supporting production problem-solving by recommending suitable laboratory testing techniques.

• Coordinating correlation and round-robin projects across different sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Process, Applied Science, Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or related field.

• 2+ years of laboratory experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industries.

• Strong knowledge of analytical testing methods, preferably trace metals analysis.

• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO/IEC 17025, and MSA is an advantage.
