Job summary

ALS Limited in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support daily lab operations, prepare and issue test reports, handle billing tasks, register samples and coordinate logistics. You will respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and walk-ins, and ensure timely follow-up with laboratory staff.

This entry‑level role requires a basic qualification and strong communication, teamwork and computer skills. Training will be provided; occasional Saturday rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O Level, NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• No prior laboratory experience is required. Training will be provided.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue laboratory test reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare invoices and perform billing-related administrative tasks.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records in the laboratory management system.
• Coordinate sample collection, submission, and logistics arrangements.
• Receive and process incoming samples, parcels, and deliveries.
• Attend to customer enquiries via phone, email, and walk-in visits.
• Liaise with laboratory personnel to facilitate customer requests and ensure timely follow-up.
• Provide general administrative, reception, and customer service support.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the Customer Service department.
