Job summary

Eurofragance is seeking a Laboratory Technician for its Singapore operations to support fragrance development in a dynamic, hybrid-work environment. The role emphasizes precise dosing, material handling, and traceability within the sample lab.

You will collaborate with Perfumers, Customer Service and Evaluators, applying chemistry knowledge and good data practices to ensure high-quality trials and reliable records.

Qualifications

• Professional Qualification in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar fragrance industry role is preferred.
• Olfactory skills/knowledge is a strong asset.
• Basic Excel skills are advantageous for data handling.
• Familiarity with SAP helps in material movements and traceability.
• Accurate and fast dosing capabilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the laboratory, compounding trials as requested by our perfumers and evaluators.
• Dose all raw materials in the formula with high accuracy.
• Update raw material consumption and ensure batch traceability.
• Record material movements in IT systems using PINS or SAP.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage raw material stocks.

What your mission?

Follow safe working procedure and complete assigned tasks with correct records and meet required processes which include raw material pouring & mixing and operate weighing, mixing, filtration, automated dosing machine and other associated equipment in the sample lab area.

Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day

• Work in the laboratory, compounding the trials as requested by our Perfumers, Customer Service and Evaluators.

• Dose all the raw materials contained in the formula with high accuracy.

• Use tablet and the barcode reader to update all the raw material consumption and ensure traceability of every batch.

• Update every raw material movement in our IT systems, using PINS (internal software) or SAP depending on the movement type.

• Maintaining pianos of raw materials

What you need to shine in this role

• Professional Qualification in Chemistry or a related discipline

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in a similar position in a Fragrance Industry / Fresh Graduate is welcome

• Olfactory skills /knowledge is a strong asset

• Basic Skills in Excel

• Knowledge of SAP

• Accurate and speed capabilities in dosing
