Job summary

Vision Manpower Pte Ltd is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Practical Skills Laboratory (PSL) for research and training. The role involves preparing specimens, including formalin-preserved materials, and providing technical assistance during workshops and sessions.

The candidate should be comfortable with cadaver handling, have foundational anatomy knowledge, and be flexible to weekend/extended hours as needed to support trainings, while maintaining high safety and hygiene

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for routine office and laboratory tasks.
• Comfortable handling cadaveric specimens, including formalin-preserved specimens.
• Knowledge of human anatomy (advantageous).
• Flexibility to work on weekends and extended hours to support workshops and training.
• Initiative and commitment to following safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up the Practical Skills Laboratory (PSL) for research and training activities.
• Prepare specimens, including formalin-preserved and other types, for research and educational purposes.
• Provide technical support during workshops and training sessions.
• Assist with cadaver handling procedures, including embalming and dissection.
• Perform radiography duties as necessary.
• Manage inventory and maintain equipment within the PSL.
• Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.

• Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment
