Job summary

RN CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a laboratory professional to prepare and operate the Procedural Skills Laboratory for clinical training, simulation sessions, and research.

You will handle specimens, support workshops, and assist cadaver procedures under strict safety and ethical standards. Role requires a Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science or related field, with comfort handling biological materials.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health or related disciplines.
• Prior clinical laboratory or healthcare experience is advantageous.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and cadaver-related work.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the PSL for clinical training, simulation sessions and research.
• Handle and maintain specimens in line with protocols.
• Provide technical and logistical support during workshops and simulations.
• Assist with cadaver handling, including embalming, dissection, and storage with safety and ethics in mind.
• Perform radiography duties to support training activities.
• Monitor and replenish laboratory equipment and inventory.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet programme needs.
• Assist in body donation and tissue bank programme administration and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.
• Support administrative tasks and process improvements for efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the Procedural Skills Laboratory (PSL) for clinical training, simulation sessions, and research activities.
• Prepare, handle, and maintain specimens for medical education, simulation programmes, and research in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide technical and logistical support during clinical workshops, training sessions, and simulation-based learning activities.
• Assist with cadaver handling procedures, including embalming, dissection, storage, and preparation while adhering to safety and ethical standards.
• Perform radiography duties when required to support training and educational activities.
• Monitor, maintain, and replenish laboratory equipment, consumables, and inventory to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and service providers to facilitate laboratory operations and programme requirements.
• Support the administration of the Body Donation Programme and Tissue Bank Programme, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment by adhering to workplace safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
• Assist in administrative duties, documentation, and continuous process improvement initiatives to support the efficient operation of the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health, Medical Technology, or other relevant disciplines.
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory, healthcare, simulation, or research environment is an advantage.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and cadaver-related work in accordance with safety and ethical guidelines.
• Good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
