Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to support PSL setup, prepare specimens for research and training, and assist with cadaver handling.

You will provide technical support during workshops, perform radiography duties when required, and help manage inventory while ensuring safety and cleanliness in the laboratory.

This 2-year contract role at Outram Park offers Monday–Friday hours with occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• Comfortable handling cadaveric specimens, including formalin-preserved specimens.
• Able to work before/after office hours or weekends when required.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
• Prior laboratory or healthcare experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Set up the Procedural Skills Laboratory (PSL) and prepare specimens for research and training activities.
• Provide technical support during workshops and clinical skills training programmes.
• Assist with cadaver handling procedures, including embalming and dissection.
• Perform radiography duties when required.
• Manage laboratory inventory, equipment, and coordinate with external vendors.
• Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Support the Body Donation Programme and Tissue Bank Programme.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
