Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Chemical/Polymer/Material Engineering or Chemistry.
• Several years' experience in the polymer industry is preferred.

Lab Analyst

Our client isa leading company in manufacturing and sales of thermoplastic. The companyneeds Lab Analyst to support production process.

The role ofthe Lab Analyst includes:

• Collaborate with laboratory analysts andtechnical personnel to evaluate semi-finished and finished materials, byperforming analytical, processing, and performance testing using advancedlaboratory instruments.
• Develop, review, and maintain laboratoryprocedures, quality documentation, and safety records to ensure accuracy,regulatory compliance, and alignment with current operational standards.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is properlymaintained and operational through routine inspections, preventive maintenance,and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate with equipment suppliers or technicalservice representatives to resolve complex instrument issues promptly.
• Monitor laboratory inventory by tracking stocklevels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring sufficientsupplies are available to support uninterrupted laboratory operations.
• Work closely with the Production and Salesdepartments to provide technical support, investigate product-related issues,and contribute to effective problem-solving and process improvements.
• Participate in laboratory quality management,ISO compliance initiatives, and workplace safety programs to promote a safeworking environment while adhering to applicable environmental, health, andsafety regulations.

Job Requirement:

• Degree/ Diploma in Chemical/Polymer/Material Engineering or Chemistry with several years' experience in the polymer industry.
• Experience in polymer material processing and testing will be an added advantage.
