Private Advertiser is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Singapore to conduct and support analytical work in a compliant lab environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and teamwork within ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
You will perform routine analyses, interpret results, prepare samples, and help maintain SOPs and equipment. Fresh graduates are welcome, with training provided where needed.
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Roles & Responsibilities
Laboratory Analyst
The Laboratory Analyst is to conduct and support all analytical activities within the laboratory while ensuring that all equipment and documentation are maintained in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. This includes performing accurate tests, documenting results, and upholding the integrity of laboratory operations.
Analytical Procedures & Data
Conduct routine and non-routine product analyses for quality and compliance.
Accurately calculate and interpret analytical report results and data.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain documentation in line with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Ensure SOPs, forms, and documents are updated to meet regulatory requirements.
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to prevent downtime.
Ensure timely equipment maintenance to ensure continuous operation.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Sample Preparation
Support SOP implementation for laboratory testing and operations.
Assist in preparing and organizing samples for analysis.
Laboratory Safety & Environment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
Follow safety protocols and quality assurance standards in all activities.
Collaboration & Daily Support
Provide support for daily operations and assist with troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines efficiently.
Testing Method Validation
Assist in validating and verifying new testing methods and equipment.
Ad-hoc Duties
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
1-2 years of laboratory experience (Fresh graduates welcome).
Experience in laboratory testing is a plus (training provided for candidates without experience).
ITE/Diploma and Degree in Chemistry or related field.
