Job summary

PaxOcean is seeking an Assistant Manager, Learning & Development to design, implement, and continuously improve learning initiatives across the group. You will partner with leaders to identify training needs, develop solutions, and measure effectiveness to build workforce capabilities.

You will support competency frameworks, talent development programmes, and training governance, ensuring records, budgets, and vendor partnerships are well managed.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development or Talent Development.
• Experience in training needs analyses and coordinating employee development programmes.
• Familiarity with competency frameworks and LMS.
• Ability to analyse learning data and derive insights.
• Strong stakeholder management with leaders across the organisation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of L&D strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Conduct training needs analyses with business units to identify capability gaps.
• Coordinate learning programmes, leadership development, and employee development interventions.
• Support competency frameworks across functions and employee groups.
• Assist in graduate and talent development programmes to support succession planning.
• Curate internal and external training programmes addressing development needs.
• Monitor training participation, outcomes, and programme effectiveness using feedback and data.
• Prepare training reports, dashboards, and insights for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to promote continuous learning.
• Ensure proper administration of learning records, databases, budgets, and vendor partnerships.
