No experience is required, but a passion for food and willingness to learn is essential. You’ll work in a fast-paced setting with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and enjoy benefits like meal allowance and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and storage practices.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment.
• Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying the supervisor of any shortages.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment, including regular cleaning of surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of food production and waste.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.
