Job summary

TINA LI NOODLE PTE. LTD. is hiring a Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations, prepare ingredients, and ensure dishes meet established standards in a Western restaurant setting.

You will assist in cooking to recipes, maintain cleanliness, handle food storage, and help with safety and hygiene according to regulations. Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required, and teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or Western restaurant environment.
• Valid WSQ Food Safety Level 1 certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of the kitchen.
• Prepare and cook accordingly to established recipes and standards.
• Handle food preparation (cutting, portioning, organizing ingredients).
• Ensure the quality, quantity and presentation of food served.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, utensils and food preparation areas in accordance with food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety and hygiene regulations.
• Receiving, checking and storing food supplies.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by Manager.
