ISHA CREATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen operations with a focus on food preparation, hygiene, and assisting the chef to maintain a smooth workflow.

We uphold a strict no-pork, no-beef, and no-alcohol policy, and we provide training for entry-level candidates; prior F&B experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates welcomed; training provided.
• Possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to obtain one).
• Previous F&B or service experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the chef with food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed.
• Handle dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Restock kitchen supplies and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
• Perform adhoc tasks assigned by the chef, such as preparing special dishes or supporting catering setups.
• Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties and waste disposal, ensuring safety standards.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen operations. This role focuses on food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting the chef in ensuring smooth kitchen workflow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kitchen Support

• Assist the chef in food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients as directed.
• Handle dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Restock kitchen supplies and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety standards.
• Perform adhoc tasks assigned by the chef, such as preparing special dishes, assisting with bulk orders, or supporting catering setups.

Operations Support

• Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and cleanliness of kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Comply with company SOPs and service guidelines.

Teamwork

• Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Be flexible to assist in different kitchen areas when required.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues.
