Job summary

Responsibilities include washing, cutting, and preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring timely food preparation. The role requires willingness to learn, ability to follow instructions, and availability to work in shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with washing, cutting, and preparing ingredients according to instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Receive, check, and store food supplies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures consistently.
• Assist in opening and closing kitchen operations to ensure readiness and cleanliness.
• Wash kitchen utensils and equipment as needed to support kitchen operations.
• Support daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of ingredients to prevent contamination.
