Job summary

Hai Sing Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a kitchen assistant to support food preparation and maintain cleanliness in a busy kitchen. You will wash, cut, and prep basic ingredients and assist chefs during cooking, ensuring smooth operations.

Candidates should be reliable, able to work long hours Monday to Saturday, and have completed a Food Safety Course. Priority given to Singapore Citizens.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen duties require attention to cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash, cut, and prepare basic ingredients (vegetables, meat, etc.)
• Assist chefs in cooking preparation
• Keep kitchen clean (washing utensils, equipment, floor)
• Store food properly (labelling, refrigeration, stock rotation)
• Follow food hygiene and safety standards
• Help receive and organise food deliveries
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly
• Basic dishwashing if needed
