Job summary

SELF HELP GROUPS STUDENT CARE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a full-time Kindergarten Care Teacher to provide high-quality childcare and support the social, emotional, and academic development of young children.

You will plan engaging activities, monitor progress, and maintain records while collaborating with parents and the teaching team to deliver the curriculum in a safe, inclusive environment. Normal hours are 9:30am–7:00pm during term; holidays involve 7am–7pm shifts.

Qualifications

• GCE 'O' level English or equivalent certification.
• Experience in childcare or educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities including structured play, arts, crafts, and outdoor play.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, inclusive environment for children to learn and thrive.
• Observe and monitor children's progress, addressing developmental or behavioural concerns.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on development and concerns.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to implement the curriculum and ensure high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by authorities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve skills.
